To our Chorus Families:

As you know, we have missed our singers and families and are really looking forward to getting back to making music together! The Board of Trustees and Chorus Staff have been working hard so we can provide the safest singing environment for all our singers and staff. We will adhere to the safety protocols of BISD and current CDC guidelines and research.

To allow singers and families time to adjust to the ‘new normal’ at school, Chorus rehearsals will begin virtually in October. The first and most important priority for the Chorus staff and Board of Trustees is ensuring that our singers are safe and protected from any unnecessary exposure to illness. We have been studying safe singing and safety protocols and have developed some innovative and exciting ways to share music virtually and in person. Your Chorus Staff is creative, smart, flexible, and we have some fun learning plans for our singers. At least for the first semester, the Chorus program may look a little different, but your child’s experience will be valuable and continue to provide great opportunities for growing and sharing musical artistry.
