Sunday, 6/16

8:50am – And they’re off for another packed day off water, RCA tour, Dave and Buster’s, and traveling home.

7:38am – Good morning!! We are enjoying our last breakfast at the Gaylord and will board the bus to go to Nashville Shores, a water park.

Sadly, this is the end of the blog (I will add 1 more update at around 8:30). I fly to Austin today, but I will keep collecting pictures so I can (finally) finish all the slideshows. I’m sorry that didn’t happen this week. Each day was so epic, we crashed in bed early every night.

Saturday 6/15

6:48pm – Almost Showtime!!! The warm-up woman gave is a shout-out!

6:34pm – Tonight’s Opry line-up:

6:26pm – The Opry performance went great! I mean, of course it did. The bottom picture is the choir we line danced with a the WildHorse Saloon.

5:29pm – Dinner was awesome! The steak was almost too good. But, the best part of dinner was when another group cane into the group room. They were a group of older tourists (grey hairs) that are also going to the show tonight. So, the chef decided our kids had to sing for them and they did! A beautiful, a capella version of I Can’t Help Falling in Love. So beautiful! I don’t have a pic yet because my phone was in the bus charging. Now we are headed to the big Opry performance and the Opry show! Another epic day.

3:44pm – Another great museum. Off to dinner at the Santa Fe Cattle Company and then back to the Grand Ole Opry!!

2:46pm – Another great show for a great crowd! Now to visit the museum.

1:58pm – WildHorse Saloon was blast! Now headed to Country Music Hall of Fame. We perform and visit the museum.

1:33pm – Line dance lesson time!

1:31pm – Brenham cheering on a choir from PA. And, the sing right after us tonight at the Grand Ole Opry!

12:17pm – This place is huge. That’s us eating and watching the festivities from above.

12:07pm – Line dancers at the WildHorse Saloon! We get to do that after we eat.

11:41am – Next up, WildHorse Saloon for lunch and line dancing!!

11:31am – The Chorus is a family with lasting friendships.

11:22am – The backstage tour was so great!!!

8:51am – The food was as good as this view.

8:41am – Our first event of the day is a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry. Then lunch.Parts of a successful tour: ||: eat, look at and learn about cool stuff, eat, perform, eat, bed :||We got it all!8:12am – Good morning!! Time for breakfast at this beautiful Gaylord Resort.

Friday, 6/14

10:01pm – Everyone is safe at the Gaylord. Tomorrow will be another epic day. Goodnight!

7:48pm – They were a huge success with the large crowd. About to head out to our new home, Gaylord Opryland!

7:35pm – Performing at the Aquarium soon. I Love Rock n Roll is the setlist.

6:38pm – Fish everywhere!

5:53 pm – We’ve had fun making the loop at Opry Mills Mall, now about to eat at the Aquarium. Rumor has it that we may perform here…

4:00pm – Update: We’re moving the Country Music Hall of Fame to tomorrow. Right now, we’re entering Nashville! Going to have some free time before dinner at the Aquarium. Also, we may be adding a performance at the Aquarium! Stay tuned…

1:12pm – We’re settled on the bus for a few hours. We have Mary Poppins Returns on for the movie. Apparently, one of the staff members has not seen it so we’re making her dream come true.

12:54pm – Back on the bus and headed to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Go, go, go!!

12:40pm – Former chemistry teacher and friend of Priscilla and Elvis had very nice things to say to the group and presented then turn a certificate. Great show!!!

12:13pm – A special guest appearance!!!!!

12:05 – They’re doing great!

11:57am – Getting ready to start!

11:30am – Lunch.

11:0am – Many of us are finishing up the mansion tour and getting lunch. Performance at Graceland at High Noon!!

9:34am – Tour about to start! And look at who our guide is…

8:41 am – Slideshow update: I fell asleep early and when I woke up, I discovered that my tech let me down. I’m sorry! Will do better today.

8:23pm – Off to Graceland!!

7:11am – Good morning! Everyone should be waking up and heading down to breakfast. Theme for today: Elvis. It’s gonna be great day!

Thursday , 6/13

7:02pm – Alright. I’m tired. What a great day!! Dinner was loads of fun, but now it’s time for bed. We’re headed to the hotel to catch some zzzz… and get ready for another fun packed day.

6:53pm – Sean Apple, the live musician, was kind enough to share his stage for an impromptu chorus set! They rocked it as usual.

5:50pm – Menu choices for dinner we’re ribs, chicken tenders, catfish, and shrimp. What would you choose? I going with the ribs. Will report back

5:49pm – We were sent another version of the cool kids table from lunch. Can you spot the difference?

5:14pm – Everyone was very engaged in the Civil Rights Museum. We could have spent another 2 hours inside. Next up, dinner at Blue City Cafe! BBQ time!

3:01pm – Arrived at the Civil Rights Museum.

2:42pm – THEY WERE AMAZING!!! First performance was a success! Now off to the Civil Rights Museum.

BTW, I will upload a slide show of pics for each day every night before I go to sleep. I will collect pictures from all the chaperones. Be on the look out.

10:24am – Made it to our first stop! Our tour guide, Emily, has joined us. Time for the Rock n Soul Museum.

8:15am – Back on the road to Memphis!

6:49am – They let us in early!! The next update will include pics of the beautiful children.6:39am – Overheard by a chaperone, “I wish the challenges could get in there early so there chaperones could start drinking coffee.” I agree!!6:20am – Here’s the situation. We have been way too efficient. We have arrived at the Golden Corral, but they open at 7! We’re hangin’ on the bus, many of us are still sleeping and the rest of us still want to be. Except for those of us that just really want to EAT.

3:52am – Rosellyn is being official and making sure no one is left behind!Next stop, food. Yay!

3:34am – We made it to Texarkana for a brief stop.
